Roadside Technicians

If you like lots of variety in a job, then you will certainly enjoy working in roadside assistance and vehicle recovery where you will be called out to attend to cars, vans and motorcycles.

Roadside and Recovery Staff are in demand 24 hours a day, seven days a week with All Recovery & Repair Limited having a pool of operatives working a shift rotation system consistent with current working time directives. You would have access to our modern fleet of specialist vehicles to carry out these duties.

Appropriate qualifications are desirable but this is not essential if you have a sound knowledge of modern automotive technology and a passion for repairing vehicles.

Above all, a friendly outgoing personality is essential for all our roadside staff.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Identify and Agree Customer Vehicle Needs
  • Carry Out Roadside Diagnostic Activities
  • Carry Out Roadside Repair Activities

Recovery Operatives

Rapid responses are crucial to deal with the hundreds of roadside incidents and emergencies that All Recovery & Repair Limited attend to each year. The callouts vary greatly and could be anything from helping an owner to start a car that has broken down at home or on the road to providing specialist assistance to a breakdown of a commercial vehicle.

Essential qualities for this role include previous experience of driving commercial vehicles and the ability to provide the highest levels of customer care.

Ideally, you will use initiative, be energetic, self motivated, able to work either in a team or alone and always remain calm under pressure.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Remove and Transport Vehicles From the Roadside
  • Recover Vehicles Following Accidents
  • Using in-cab computer terminals

Workshop Technicians

Today's vehicles are so technologically advanced that there is more computer kit in a modern car than there was on the Apollo II spacecraft! With around 33½ million licensed vehicles on the road, the requirement for highly skilled technicians to repair, maintain and keep them roadworthy will always be present.

Working with All Recovery & Repair Limited, you will repair a wide variety of modern motor cars and small commercial vehicles in clean, well equipped, workshops in a friendly environment. You should have experience of fault finding using diagnostic machinery and be able to solve problems in a logical sequence.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Servicing cars and light vehicles
  • Diagnosing faulty components
  • Repairing / replacing defective parts
  • Using test instruments to verify whether components are functioning correctly
  • Improving vehicle settings to optimise performance

Administrative Assistant

Working for this ..[company]......., you will need to be a multi-tasker as the role involves ......... You should be IT literate, have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

You will have a pleasant telephone manner .............

Your main tasks will include:

  • To act as a receptionist for visitors to the garage and answering phone calls
  • General administrative tasks
  • Using the 'Garage Manager' data entry system to book in vehicles for service and/or repair, create reports and issue invoices
  • Process orders with suppliers for replacement parts
  • To answer queries and requests for recovery and breakdown services
  • Health & Safety and Data Protection issues
  • Organising day-to-day running of the office
